Nishikant Kamat, the filmmaker who delivered effective movies like Madaari, Drishyam, Force, and Rocky Handsome died on Monday cause of multiple organ failure. Actor Riteish Deshmukh was one of the first ones to notify about the director’s death since he tweeted:
The director, who had been afflicted by chronic liver disease and secondary infections, had been admitted to AIG Hospital at Gachibowli, Hyderabad on July 31. In a statement, the hospital stated that Kamat was declared on July 31 with criticism of fever and excess tiredness. “It had been recognized that he was suffering from Liver Cirrhosis for a previous couple of decades. Originally, we began antibiotics and supportive drugs upon which Mr. Kamat revealed progress, but his illness soon deteriorated with advanced liver disease as well as nausea. He was instantly shifted to the ICU, in which his overall condition slowly declined. Since yesterday he developed respiratory failure and hypotension,” the announcement read.
